Nolan Y. Maehara, D.D.S.
Dr. Maehara received his Doctorate 
in Dental Surgery from the
University of Southern California School of
Dentistry and also received his Bachelor of
Science degree in Biological Sciences from USC
- fight on! He has over 30 years of experience
and has owned and operated his private practice
since 1978.
Dr. Maehara is a member of the American Dental Association, the
California Dental Association, the Los Angeles Dental Society and
the Japanese American Dental Society. In addition, Dr. Maehara is
an active member of the community. He is a past president of the Japanese American
Optimist Club of Los Angeles.
Pei Hsuan Kung, D.D.S.
Dr. Kung graduated from the University of 
Southern California's School of Dentistry,
and received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University
of California at Berkeley in Molecular Environmental Biology. She
is a preclinical instructor at USC's School of Dentistry.
Dr. Kung is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association and the Western Los Angeles Dental Society.
Dr. Kung is fluent in Chinese and Taiwanese.
Dr. Gerald Takeoka
Dr. Gerald Takeoka completed his undergraduate studies at UCLA with a degree in 
Psychobiology. He continued on to graduate from the clinically renowned USC School of Dentistry. During his time in dental school, Dr. Takeoka was heavily involved with student leadership as Vice President of the Associated Student Body. He was awarded numerous honors and scholarships for his refined clinical skills and dedication to patient care. With a calling for volunteerism and service, he traveled internationally to treat underserved children in the rural villages of Costa Rica, Belize and Mexico City.
Dr. Takeoka decided to enhance his education by completing a residency program at the UCLA Medical Center in Hospital Dentistry where he treated a challenging population of medically compromised, mentally and physically disabled patients in outpatient, hospital and operating room environments. Dr. Takeoka strives to provide all of his patients the one-on-one care and attention necessary to educate them about their dental needs and concerns.
